| Abstract(in English) | We have developed the newly slim connector. At pulling cable, the connector with pulling eye is very slim and small enough to pass through the duct of telephone line in subscriber's house. The diameter of the connector is 7mm almost the same as cable diameter and the length is about 40mm. After pulling the optical drop cable, the pulling eye can be removed and put on the outer housing. The comlete size of the connector is the same a SC connector, compatible to connect each other. We evaluated connecting and mechanical property of the connector assembled at optical drop cable. The test results indicates excellent property same as conventional SC connector. |
