Abstract(in English) Solid LA-SMFs with Aeff of 160μm^2, attenuation loss less than 0.18dB/km, λc less than 1460nm and low bending loss, as well as DCFs for S, C, L-band compensation were numerically optimized and fabricated. Merits of using holey fibers in case of ultra wide-band transmission from 1.0μm band will be also studied and Aeff of HFs was enlarged as large as 115μm^2. Dispersion compensation from 1.0μm band to telecom band was also investigated
