Distributed Measurement for Overlay Network Infrastructure

Abstract(in English) As the Internet environment has been spread, IP networks have been used in diverse environments to cover wide area and a number of nodes. Moreover there has been increasing demand for high quality of service and reliability in IP networks. More precise network management is required. In this paper, we focus on active measurement for performance monitoring purpose and propose a node-clustering algorithm to achieve scalability in end-to-end measurement. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated by simulation and experiments using real data sampled in the Internet.
