ISDB-T Receiver Performance in Pedestrian and Mobile Channels

Abstract(in English) Mobile TV services have been launched in many countries. To compare their performances, we need to use the same channel model. This report describes ISDB-T receiver performance in the Typical Urban 6 (TU6), Pedestrian Indoor (PI) and Pedestrian Outdoor (PO) channels, and comparison between ISDB-T and DVB-H performances. Required CN ratio of ISDB-T was lower than that of DVB-H in the TU6 channel, and there are not any significant differences in required CN ratio between ISDB-T and DVB-H in the PI and PO channels.
