Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To realize the ubiquitous network environment enabling the Internet that can be accessed at anytime, from anywhere, and by anyone, a MobileIP protocol to realize mobility of IP nodes is formed. Furthermore NEMO protocol to realize network mobility of routers is also created. For widespread use of these technologies, we argued that new network management and monitoring are needed to stably run the MobileIPv6/NEMO network. In this paper, we describe the characteristics of MobileIPv6/NEMO network, and necessity and problems of its management and monitoring from the perspective of network management. We further propose a monitoring technology for mobile devices to estimate fault position in MobileIPv6/NEMO network.
