Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, network traffic on the internet is growing and there is a demand of high-performance network processing. In addition, multicore/manycore processor is becoming popular and there is a need for accelerating conventional applications on muticore/manycore platform. In this report, to obtain higher throughput of single TCP session, we study the parallelization method of TCP/IP process. First we show the method of parallelization and we show about the way to process between CPU cores, and we show the result of profiling Linux TCP/IP stack. Finally we show the result of performance study of parallelized stack. The estimated maximum throughputs are 23.74Gbps in 4-parallel in Intel Core2(2.4GHz) architecture.
