Abstract(in English) For multi-channel audio system which becomes widely used, it is a serious problem to increase transmission quantity of the signal. In this paper, we propose a new compressive coding of audio signal using cosine-distance weighted K-means as compressive technique with high quality and low bit rates. This method can obtain basis vectors which minimize error between decoded signals and original signals, and we can provide a single channel signal by using basis vector. However, the sound quality degrades if we do not replace basis vector in time for changing composition of the musical instruments. It is because besis vector we obtained is time invariant, so the compression distortion is not always minimized. The automatic algorithm of replacement of besis vector still remains as undeveloped issue. Therefore, we introduce an optimization algorithm of basis vector replacement. Experimental result shows that our algorithm can archieve a minimization of the compression distortion and the best replacement timing of the basis vector.
