Abstract(in English) This paper presents a watermarking technique that is robust to non-linear geometrical distortion attacks. Embedding watermark is based on discrete cosine transform (DCT) coefficients manipulation developed in our previous work. The locations to embed the watermark information are memorized in the local coordinates that are defined relatively to scale-invariant-feature-transform (SIFT) feature points. One embedded block is referred from multiple SIFT feature points. As a result, it is possible to extract the embedded information robustly even with non-linear geometrical distortion such as waving, swirling, and so on. In addition, the proposed algorithm is also robust to non-linear resizing such as seam carving, which was developed to resize the image without degrading the human perception. Experimental results demonstrate that the average number of detected bits with 64-bit embedding can be improved from 38bits to 54bits. A WEB-base application so that anyone can use and evaluate our watermark is also presented.
