Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed an evolutional polarity detectable delay wave measuring apparatus for measuring long delay profiles and levels accurately by using newly developed transfer function method and power spectrum method in the single frequency network (SFN) used for terrestrial digital TV broadcasting . In both methods, false delay waves occurs in case of a delay time of above 168μs. However, in the transfer function method, true delay wave levels are always over false delay wave levels. Therefore, by sensing the level difference, true delay waves can be detected. On the other hand, level of true delay waves can be measured more accurately by using power spectrum method. In this apparatus, exact measuring of long delay profiles is realized by combining these two methods. This apparatus is now in practical operation.
