Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Forward Interference Avoidance (FIA), which increases the number of co-existent wireless links using Adaptive Array Antennas (AAA), is an attractive method for wireless ad hoc networks. Although it enables nodes to avoid interfering with other nodes, efficient utilization of the space in entire network is not high. This paper proposes a high efficiency utilization of the space with adaptive modulation and FIA for wireless ad hoc networks. Moreover, we investigate the performance of this proposed method through computer simulations.
