Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As one of the OFDMA based broadband mobile wireless access scheme, WiMAX (IEEE802.16e) is being investigated and developed. In this system, fractional frequency reuse (FFR), that coordinates frequency reuse factor according to location or any other situation of mobile subscriber, is considered to be applied for improvement of the spectral efficiency and link-level quality. In this paper, frequency resource allocation scheme is investigated for downlink PUSC zone, and its performance is evaluated by network-level simulations. In addition, FFR performance is compared to interference cancellation.
