Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) IFDMA(Interleaved Frequency Division Multiple Access) is the modulation scheme of obtaining frequency diversity gain and establishing frequency orthogonal channel. In multicarrier modulation scheme like orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), the pilot signal is dispersive over the frequency domain and the time domain and thus the estimated channel transfer function can trace the fluctuation of the actual channel transfer function. It is refereed to scattered pilot. However, there has been no consideration about it for IFMDA, witch is one of single-carrier. In this report, we propose scattered pilot construction with using IFDMA modulation scheme. However, the proposed technique causes enlarging the peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of the pilot signals. In this report, the methods of selecting pilot sequences and inserting the modulated symbol as PAPR becomes small are proposed. The simulation results show that the proposed techniques can achieve the highly accurate channel estimation and the significant PAPR reduction.
