Abstract(in English) The GNSS, global navigation satellite system, is being introduced as efficient navigation means for civil aviation. The GNSS-based guidance systems have been developed for approach and landing phase of flight, which have capability of vertical guidance necessary for precision approach. One of benefits of introducing GNSS approach would be reducing cancellation of flight and diversion due to establishment of precision approach procedures at local airports, however, any result of quantitative evalation is, so far, not available. The authors, in this report, have tried to evaluate the quantitative effect of introducing GNSS-based approach using airport meteorological information archive.
