Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we apply a connector model with an inductance to the common-mode antenna model. The common-mode antenna model is able to estimate common-mode radiation from a printed circuit board (PCB) fast and with low calculation cost. The previous report described that the model estimated radiation from PCBs with interconnections, depending on pin configurations of the connector. However, the calculation did not follow the frequency shift depending on pin configuration. The shift seems to result from the effective inductance of connector pins. Therefore, we developed the model considering the inductance. It was found that the modified common-mode antenna model with the connector inductance followed the frequency shift of radiation spectrum. As a result, the radiation spectrum obtained from the modified common-mode antenna model has good agreement with the measured spectrum within an error of 2dB.
