Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a novel bit rate estimating scheme which is useful to spectrum spread communication system for data relay satellite in the case of applying adaptive rate control. Conventional adaptive rate control systems inform bit rate information to receivers before data transmission, thus system throughput decreases and systems become complex. To solve these problems, we propose a scheme which estimates bit rate information from received signal power of preamble. Furthermore, our proposed scheme enables rapid and fine preamble detection and bit rate estimation at the same time.
