| 抄録(和) | NTT研究所では将来のKu帯移動衛星通信システムとして偏波周波数可変多重通信(VPFDM)を用いた偏波無追尾衛星通信を提案している.本報告ではVPFDM通信を実現するモデムモジュールを開発したので,その性能評価を行った結果を報告する.VPFDMは1ユーザが両偏波を同時に利用し,偏波追尾しないことで生じる偏波間干渉を受信機で補償することを特徴とする.1ユーザが両偏波を使用するためユーザ間の偏波間干渉は原理的に生じない.したがって,偏波追尾機構そのものが不要になり,衛星追尾アンテナの経済化・薄型化に貢献できる.本発表ではVPFDMの基本原理を述べた後,開発したモデムモジュールの概要を述べる.次に開発したモジュールを用いて偏波多重・分離機能の基本性能の検証結果を述べ,最後に衛星中継器の周波数特性を考慮した偏波・周波数可変マルチキャリヤ分散機能の検証結果を述べる.いずれの検証結果も理論特性からの劣化量が0.5dB以内であり,開発モジュールの正常動作を確認した. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper introduces a modem module for a new Ku broadband mobile communications system that offers simple satellite-tracking antennas, named Variable Polarization Frequency Division Multiplexing (VPFDM). It allows each user to freely utilize multi-carrier frequency slots of V/H dual polarization. Since a VPFDM user uses V/H polarizations simultaneously, he/she doesn't share the same frequency band with other users, so that no cross-polarization interference can occur among users. This means that the requirement of polarization-tracking at the user earth station antenna can be abolished yielding more compact and economical user earth stations. This paper overviews VPFDM and details the key technologies of the VPFDM modem and a performance evaluation. |
