Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Business process re-engineering (BPR) has been recognized to be important for efficient businesses. BPR involves some steps such as understanding actual business processes, analyzing inefficiencies and their causes, exploring solutions, and applying the best solutions to the actual businesses. Because there are plural ideas for an improvement, the user must choose one idea and apply it to actual business process. In such a case, business process simulator which can support the user to choose best idea may be used. Degrees of confidence in simulation results are assumed to be depend on business information that business simulators can be given. The more information is given, the more degrees of confidence. On the other hand, increasing input data means increase of labor hour. In this paper, we suggest a way of getting this business information from execution logs as one approach to solve above problem. However, because the execution logs consist of various contents, availability of this approach is unknown. So that we first defined the business information of business process simulator and then report the result from applying the defined business information to actual execution logs. As the result, we show reasonable efficacy of this approach. |
