Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the optimal energy detection receivers for on-off keying (OOK) in ultra-wide-band impulse radio (UWB-IR) systems are discussed. We discuss three schemes of optimizing receivers, the first one optimizes the integration interval, the second one optimizes the energy threshold value, and the last one is the scheme of combination of these two schemes. Their characteristics are evaluated by computer simulation.
