Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Digital music scores are widely used via the internet, which enable us easily to access both score information and music sound on site. However, visually impaired people need Braille music scores to read and to play music. We have developed a Braille translation system which provides Braille music scores from digital scores on WEB sites via the internet. In this paper, an algorithm for translating Braille scores and the configuration of developed system are presented. The experimental results with cooperation of Braille music translators and the operational availabilities of our system are also discussed.
