Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To support of education, an electronic whiteboard of JSDT is used on department of communication network engineering of Okayama University. Middleware of the system uses IP multicast, and resending-function of the middleware offers reliability. Since the middleware consumes resources of computer and network heavily, efficient implementation of new middleware is required. At first, we removed functions of the middleware which were not used by the electronic whiteboard application. We also designed a new protocol to reduce network traffic. Implementation and analysis on performance of the new middleware are shown.
