Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Pocket Switched Network (PSN) is a new network service where users exchange data related game, rumors, and interesting information, etc., using their mobile devices with short range wireless interfaces. The users move around not only a small space, but also a large space visiting residential areas, offices, commercial areas, etc. Their mobile devices sometimes relay their data hop by hop. In the PSN, their wireless links sometimes are disconnected for a long time, and the network topology dynamically changes. Therefore, an efficient data exchange is important. In this report, we assume a mobility model for users in a large space. We also propose an effective multi-hop data exchange where nodes collect and use the information on the delivery delay in each wireless link.
