Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs), for which the theoretical energy density is 10 or more times greater than that of the current lithium cells, is expected to become the future power source for mobile devices. We proposed a flexible type DMFC which has high flexibility compared to conventional DMFC. To achieve a long operation time we have studied semiactive flexible type DMFC that kept supplying the fuel, and clarified the output characteristic. It has proposed to form the passage in the fuel cell to use the fuel effectively and to increase the amount of power generation. |
