Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes effects of sensing-measurement errors on safety performance of driving assistance systems using on-board sensors. First, the measurement error model of sensors is built. Next, using a microscopic traffic flow simulator introducing the model previously built here, the safety performance evaluation of driving assistance systems is carried out. Simulation results show that measurement errors influence the safety performance of the driving assistance system.
