Scattering Properties From a Two-Dimensional Multilayered Periodic Structure

Abstract(in English) Scattering of electromagnetic wave from a two-dimensional multilayered periodic structure is presented using Moment Method together with Lattice Sums and Phase Shift Correction Method between interfaces.The multilayered structure consists of dielectric circular cylinders. In this study, the TM wave whose electric field is parallel to the cylindrical axis is analyzed and the effect of permittivity, size of the cylinder and the spacing between layer on the reflectance and transmittance shall be investigated. The numerical results also show the wavelength responses of the multilayer arrays of composite dielectric cylinders.
