Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Requirements process is sometimes regarded as a time consuming process. As a result, some projects shorten the requirements process and start development process. On the other hand, the inefficient requirements process has ended a project in failure. We consider that lack of understanding of requirements engineering can cause such a problematic situation. In this article, we introduce an educational course for professional engineers with over five year experience. The course is composed with introduction of requirements engineering methods, role playing exercise, and requirements documentation. After introducing the course overview, this article describes an example of the course and evaluates the effectiveness of the course by showing the checklist that trainees developed in the course.
