Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) CMOS-based biomedical photonic devices especially for bio-implant applications are proposed and discussed. We describe (1) flexible retinal stimulator for retinal prosthesis technology, and (2) in vivo brain imaging device. Chip design, packaging of our biomedical devices are described, and functional demonstrations of the devices using animals are also reported.
