Results and prospects of the wide area networking of fixed point observations

Abstract(in English) Since 2000 we have been develped and operated the fixed point observations network for weather and scenes. The system conststs of 18 observation points in Japan and 1 point in Cairns, Australia, connecting to the the Internet. The central server has been gathered their data periodically and served many contents for educational purposes through the Web pages. We discuss the results and prospects of our project continueing for this 8 years.
