Abstract(in English) We propose high quality and flexible optical pulse generator which is suitable for optical communications and their performance monitoring techniques. The developed compact and low cost modules shows a quite good performance such as low jitter, flexible repititous rate, and small pedestals foot print. In addition, we introduce typical application of this modules which are used for UWB (ultra wideband wireless access) communication test bed.
