Compact and Low Power Consumption Polymer Multimode Interference Photonic Switch

Abstract(in English) We demonstrate a compact polymer-based photonic switch with low power operation of 9mW. This compact polymer switch exhibits a low switching crosstalk of-23dB with an MMI device length of 510μm. Additional simulations have shown the ability to reduce the theoretical power consumption to less than 4mW with crosstalk less than-40dB.
