| 抄録(英) | In this paper, a receive antenna selection scheme is proposed for downlink multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems by utilizing network duality theory previously used for global optimization of beamforming vectors and power allocation for antenna selection. Network duality reflects the nature of relationship between downlink and uplink channel conditions and antenna selection for the downlink scenario can be converted into uplink scenario where the problem is easier to handle. Due to different user's channel conditions and signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) requirements, it is necessary to combine antenna selection technique with beamforming and power allocation scheme. A ratio formed by the actual SINR and target SINR is used to measure the channel quality for each user. First, antenna selection is implemented individually for all users: from the user having the highest ratio to the one with the lowest ratio. In each round, a subset of receive antennas which maximize SINR for current user is selected, and this subset of antenna is used to obtain the receive antenna subset for subsequent users. Then, the beamforming vectors and power allocation are calculated based on selected receive antenna channel states. Compared with conventional schemes, which range from exhaustive searching to gradually reducing or adding antennas among users, the proposed algorithm is simpler and more effective. Simulation results show that the outage probability and total transmission power are reduced. |
