Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) OFDM has become one of the most promising techniques because of its high bandwidth efficiency as well as its robustness against the severe frequency selective fading by using guard interval (GI). However, one of the major problems in OFDM is its high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). So far, we have proposed the derivation method of the simple series form formula of BER performance for DQPSK/OFDM signals in the presence of nonlinear fading channels. In this report, as the extension of this work, we verify the applicability of the proposed derivation method to M-ary QAM/OFDM signals by comparing the proposed theoretical results with computer simulation results.
