Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has been developing the H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV). HTV is automated, unmanned logistic transporter to the International Space Station (ISS) and approaches to the ISS with relative navigation system from JEM-SIGI on JEM (Japanese Experiment Module) and HTV-SIGI on HTV to GPS (Global Positioning System). ISS structure has the possibility of serious impact on actual pseudo range and relative navigation by multipath influence. This paper describes the multipath analysis and pseudo range error analysis with ISS structure using the UTD technique. The delay paths are obtained by ray tracing method and pseudo range error analysis is estimated with Delay Lock Loop (DLL), and Good correlations between analysis and measurement of the pseudo range error with GPS simulator has been obtained and confirmed the validation of analysis. ISS Paddles and Radiators rotations are also included in the analysis model. Variation of communication level due to ISS structure is also analyzed in accordance with ISS and GPS trajectory. |
