Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) ASTRO-G is a follow-on mission of HALCA, which is the world first space VLBI mission. Astro-G will observe active galactic nuclei and protosters and so on with extremely higher angular resolution and higher sensitivity. Astro-G has three communication systems which are reference signal transfer to the satellite from ground tracking stations in Ka-band, VLBI digital data downlink in Ka-band and TT&C in S-band. In this paper, communication requirements and general system overview of the reference signal transfer and data downlink in Ka-band are described.
