Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We can estimate the intentions of others and their internal states such as plan by observing their actions. We can also decide our actions based on their internal states. On the other hand, others can also observe our behavior and estimate our intentions to influence their actions. When we demonstrate a specific action to others, we can induce their intentions and actions as we intended. However, there are multiple strategies for action decisions when we consider the intentions of others. To realize efficient interaction between ourselves and others, we must select a strategy from a set of possible ones of the moment. On the strategy of intention estimation based on action decisions, passive methods that decide self action based on the other's intention have been studied. In contrast, we have proposed an active method that induces the other's intention in a desired direction and evaluated its effectiveness by computer simulations. In this paper, we demonstrate the results of computer simulations and advocate the necessity of "meta strategy" in action decisions and the existence of interaction patterns in such interactive situations.
