Abstract(in English) | In this technical report, we shall put forward a novel strategy to evaluate the emotion information, quantifying the complicated spatio-temporal dynamics of the human brains in terms of such universal characteristics of the physiological signals as fractal dimensions, which has been observed in EEG we well as the near infra-red spectroscopy (NIRS). In several practical applications, we have succeeded to evaluate the sensibility, i.e. emotion information by means of fractal analyses with an appropriate accuracy as well as a relatively high time-resolution beyond the conventional approaches based on the power spectral analyses with band-separated signals, i.e. emotion spectral analysis method (ESAM). |
