Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, society is demanding the development of vehicles such as the HEV(Hybrid Electric Vehicle), which are environmentally friendly. To power the HEV requires connecting several batteries using FSSW to weld the aluminum and copper battery electrodes. Therefore it is demanded that technology of welding between aluminum and copper as a battery electrodes. This report is about the result of welding between aluminum and copper by using FSSW that is using friction stir effect.
