Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Calculating numerically and analysing various previous works on heavily-doped trans-polyacetylene, it is derived that the structure is a soliton lattice and the sliding of the lattice contributes to the electric conductivity. Sliding simulations of the soliton lattice are carried out in this work for various soliton density. The sliding speed is studied and it is found that the speed is determined so that the soliton-passing period is pulled into integer times of C-C stretching vibration near the four times sound velocity. Isotope effect is also calculated and it is found that the sliding speed of soliton lattice for (CD)_x is not so stable as that of (CH)_x. |
