| 抄録(和) | 母語話者英語と日本人英語の英語発声における時間長の差と,主にパワーとピッチによるプロミネンスの差異を明らかにするために,10名の英語母語話者(男性5名,女性5名)と16名の日本語母語話者(男性7名,女性9名)の同一30文の英語発声から,各々の文に含まれる単語の時間長,パワー,ピッチを比較検討した.母語話者英語では,文末要素と,直後にbe動詞を後続する主語(代)名詞における時間長の伸長,内容語や対比要素のパワー強調と機能語におけるパワー弱化,内容語のピッチ変域の拡大と機能語のピッチ変域の縮小の傾向が認められた.日本人英語では,文末要素とbe動詞を後続する主語(代)名詞では発声時間長について母語話者英語と同様な傾向がみられたが,その他の要素では発声時間長が比較的長く,特に英語に特徴的な発音では時間長の伸長が著しかった.また日本人英語では,不特定な要素においてパワー強調とピッチ変域の拡大などの傾向が認められた. |
| 抄録(英) | In order to clarify the differentiating the prosodic features of English spoken by Japanese native subjects, 30 declarative sentences uttered by 10 native English speakers and 16 native Japanese speakers are comparatively analyzed. The analysis focuses on duration, power patterns and pitch patterns of individual words that compose the sentences. Results are summarized as follows: in native English, duration is longer than others in words at sentence ends or at the beginning of the sentences in which subjects are followed by be-V. Content words or comparative words are stressed in power patterns and content words are also in pitch patterns in native English. On the other hand in Japanese English, duration is all tending longwinded compared with native English, particularly words with phonemes of English peculiarities, except at the end of the sentences or at the beginning of the sentences in which subjects are followed by be-V. Also Japanese English have tendency to stress words indefinitely in power patterns and pitch patterns. |
