Abstract(in English) | The numerical simulation with the finite element method (FEM), the task of mesh generation is required for simulation. In this FEM, it's a problem to consume the time for this task. In order to reduce this time, many Meshfree methods without the mesh generation have been proposed. Then, we apply the Meshless Local Petrov-Galerkin method (MLPG) which is one of the meshfree methods to the wave equation, and evaluate the accuracy of this method by comparing the result of simulation of MLPG to FEM. |
