Abstract(in English) This report proposes a minimum contention window selection method for a spectrum sharing for the existing wireless local area network (primary system) and cognitive radio network (secondary system). Both systems behave based on CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance) protocol and secondary user achieves a spectrum sharing by using the minimum contention window size selection algorithm. The purpose of the spectrum sharing technique is the maximization of the secondary system throughput while keeping a constraint which protects the primary system throughput based on the channel occupancy rate information of secondary user and primary user. By computer simulations, the proposed minimum contention window size selection algorithm can protect the constraint and the performance of the secondary system is shown.
