Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Cognitive radio system consists of multiple wireless access systems that cover overlapping area, and cognitive terminals that use one or more wireless access systems simultaneously to communicate with network. In this paper, system architecture with cognitive radio is introduced. In our proposed system, Cellular (EVDO), WiMAX and WLAN are used for inter-radio system switching and cognitive terminal is given one local IP address regardless the number of wireless access systems that they communicate with. Through simulations under multi-user environment, we have achieved that average user throughput was improved compared with conventional system.
