Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a new server data authentication scheme for sensor networks. Data authentication is a basic technology to detect spoofing and malicious modification of data, and it is a basic component of a secure network. In a sensor network where one server controls many nodes, it is very important to authenticate the data transmitted by the server. In this paper, we propose a server data authentication scheme that incurs less server communication overhead than a simplistic data authentication scheme. Our proposed scheme leverages structured group keys and message authentication code. Finally, we introduce an example application of our proposed scheme and evaluate its effects quantitatively.
