Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) General 3D sound localization methods for multiple sound sources with limited computational resources, which are mainly based on interpolation or sound source clustering, suffer from localization errors and/or serious quality degradation if the number of reproducible sound sources is restricted especially in embedded systems. In this paper, we propose a new method based on fuzzy clustering, in which interpolation and clustering are executed simultaneously. Computational cost evaluation and subjective listening test have been performed to demonstrate the possibility of embedded implementation and the effectiveness of the proposed method.
