Abstract(in English) | Y-00, a quantum cryptographic system, uses mesoscopic number of photons having a phase (polarization) angle based on a pseudo random number generated from shared secret and a signal bit. Without knowledge on the pseudo random numbers, it is difficult to restore signal bits themselves, because of quantum uncertainty on angles. However, even with the uncertain angle measurements, a lot of information on the pseudo random numbers leaks so that privacy amplification is impossible. That is, Y-00 is broken. |
