Abstract(in English) We propose a technique to assign transmission channels flexibly in our wavelength routing system (AWG-STAR) by developing an AWG router with non-uniform transmission passbands. We experimentally clarify the relationships between the AWG designing parameters and transmission passband, and summarize the principles. Then, we develop a 9×9 AWG router and show its transmission characteristics.
