Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) is one promising candidate for a new-generation broadband multiple access technique. A combination of single multi-port en/decoder at the central office and SSFBG en/decoders at each ONU in an optical network can enable cost-effective configuration. In this report, we successfully demonstrate field trials of duplex, fully-asynchronous, 10-Gbps×8-user DPSK-OCDMA system over 100km.
