Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we study to reduce the interference noises in the OCDM system using the Fiber-Bragg-Grating (FBG) phase en/decoders. At first, the noise elimination by an optical time-gating at a receiver side is experimentally demonstrated. Then, an electro-absorption modulator is employed for the optical time-gating, and driven by a 34ps electric-gate pulse generated from a rectangular clock pulse. As a result, 6 OCDM system channels is achieved with increasing 3 in 622Mbit/s/ch. Next, the noise reduction and the nonlinear processing using analog electronic circuits consist of a variable-gain amplifier, a peak-detector and a threshold-amplifier are experimentally investigated. As a result, the noise reduction system enables a 622Mbit/s/ch-OCDM operation at bit error rate<1×10^<-9> with up to 7 OCDM system channels. Furthermore, the data-rate per the channel is set to 1.244Gbit/s or 2.488Gbit/s, and the multi-rate characteristic is investigated. |
