Abstract(in English)	In United States, Europe and Japan, research efforts about developing new generation network, which is not an expanded version of Internet Protocol, is very extensive. In particular, network virtualization technology, which is a succeeding technology of overlay networking technologies, is promising, because they provide better flexibility, quality of service (QoS) and management ability to the network. In this article, we introduce summary of network virtualization and overlay network technologies, before introducing the panelists of the session "the front line of network virtualization and overlay network technologies."
