Abstract(in English) | This paper describes an algorithm for recognizing sequential patterns at their beginning. The algorithm is based on a boosting-like scheme for training weak-learners prepared at individual frames. Training samples misrecognized by the weak-learner at a certain frame are heavily weighted at the training of the weak-learner at the next frame. The algorithm was applied to an online character recognition task for showing its usefulness. |
