| 抄録(和) | 複数の画像を張り合わせて1枚の広い視野の画像を作成することを画像モザイク生成といい,コンピュータビジョンの分野で古くから研究されている.従来の方法は人混みのシーンを撮影した画像など,画像間で移動物体が存在している場合を考慮しておらず,位置合わせや張り合わせを困難にしていた.本研究では,移動物体が存在している領域をEM(Expectation-Maximization)アルゴリズムを用いて除外し,画像の輝度勾配を利用した位置合わせ法により画像間の適切なHomography(射影変換)行列を推定する.また,画像を張り合わせる際にはつなぎ目が目立たないように,最短経路問題の解法に利用するDijkstraのアルゴリズムを用いて境界を設定する.そして,実際に移動物体が存在している画像に対しても提案手法がロバストにHomography行列を推定し,自然な画像モザイクを生成できることを示す. |
| 抄録(英) | Image mosaicing is an effective means of constructing a photograph with a wide field of view from a series of images taken in different viewing angles. In the case of congested traffic scenes with a cluttered environment including vehicles or pedestrians, there are severe difficulties in registration to match two or more images. This paper deals with three types of methods for implementing a practical technique of image mosaicing: registration is performed based on Homographies, Expectation-Maximization (EM) algorithm is adopted to refine the Homography estimation by removing a specific image region including moving objects, and Dijkstra's algorithm is utilized for determining the boundaries where the image pair is inconsistent. Experimental results indicate that the proposed technique is effective to synthesize a reasonable image with wide field of view from a series of small-size images. |
